XML is the latest in new web technology from the World Wide Consortium or W3C. Currently, W3C has issued XML Ver 1.0 as a Proposed Recommendation. A Note from the Publisher

We are finally ready to present the first issue of CF Advisor ™. Ever since we started working with Allaire ColdFusion® to build our first web-based database, we’ve wished that we could find a publication that would help us learn more about this wonderful product. There were plenty for Access, Visual Basic and NT, but none for ColdFusion. Our interest dates from the early summer of 1997 when we were asked to create an on-line webzine for another software product. We, of course, chose ColdFusion to run the site.
